Ukrainian delegation to participate in Tripartite Contact Group told about the results of today’s meeting.

It is noted that at today’s meeting, the Ukrainian delegation confirmed its readiness to speed up preparations for the next stage of the simultaneous mutual release of persons held in connection with the conflict.
In addition, the Ukrainian side sent appropriate notes to the OSCE about gross violations of the ceasefire by Russian armed formations and losses on the part of Ukraine.
It is noted that during the meeting, Ukraine expressed particular concern about the continuation of numerous restrictions, in particular in the occupied territories, the freedom of movement of representatives of the OSCE SMM and the incapacitation or destruction of equipment and technical means of monitoring the mission.
“Our delegation once again called on the Russian side to implement the relevant decisions of the Paris summit and to ensure the implementation of a set of measures for demining the previously identified nineteen areas on the contact line, thus ensuring safe access of citizens and civilian personnel to critical infrastructure facilities in order to ensure their sustainable operation and recovery. “, – the message says.

Now the TCG working subgroup on social and economic issues is working out the details of organizing a visit of IAEA experts to inspect nuclear material at two facilities located in CADLO.
It is emphasized that the Ukrainian delegation continues to insist on the need for the early release of all illegally detained persons and is taking all necessary measures for this.
Summing up, the Ukrainian delegation noted that they continue to focus on the need to unblock the operation of the checkpoint from the Russian side as soon as possible, return to a full and comprehensive ceasefire, agree on a demining plan with a schedule for repairs at key critical infrastructure facilities near the contact line and create safe conditions for proper functioning of facilities that meet the needs of the civilian population
