Tales of the Jedi is now available on Disney +

The latest Star Wars animated show – Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – is out on the Disney + streaming service, but we’re still waiting for the LEGO sets to play along.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is a new animated show set in the Star Wars prequel era. Consisting of six episodes, it delves into the past of Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku, the two main characters of the Clone Wars TV series. The show maintains the art direction of that previous program, with actors such as Matthew Lanter, James Arnold Taylor, and even Liam Neeson reprising their roles. They are joined by the likes of Bryce Dallas Howard, who voices Yaddle, the cult favorite for this series.

In short, it promises to be a fun time for Clone Wars fans. However, no LEGO sets have yet been announced for it. It’s unusual considering the clone wars were a common source of inspiration for LEGO sets. About 80 Clone Wars compounds have appeared in the LEGO Star Wars theme to date, with the latest – 75342 Republic Tank Destroyer – making an appearance this year.

That doesn’t mean, however, that Tales of the Jedi sets are completely out of the question. 75323 The Vindicator – inspired by the first season of the Clone Wars spinoff The Bad Batch – launched in the LEGO Star Wars range a few months ago, sometime after the episode that introduced it. Therefore, it is possible that the LEGO Star Wars theme may look back for inspiration in the next year or two.

Until then, be sure to check out our guide to Tales of the Jedi companion sets. While these aren’t explicitly linked to the events of the show, they do contain some key characters that appear in them. Unfortunately, a Yaddle minifigure hasn’t materialized in any LEGO Star Wars yet, although she is playable in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga if you’re a huge Yaddle fan.
