The application of Udo Sachs, a waste disposal company in Burgsinner, took up a lot of space at the meeting of the municipal council. According to Mayor Peter Pauls, the planning should ensure proper operation with warehouses. The still unclear connection to the drinking water supply, the sewage system and the street maintenance of Bahnhofstrasse must also be included in the negotiations.
According to the operator, the use of the space since then corresponds to the planning that has not yet been carried out, Paul made clear at the council meeting. Deputy Mayor Dirk Schiefer knew that the waste disposal company processes and handles screenings and thus coarse constituents, mostly organic substances, from the wastewater from the sewage treatment plants. Despite the remote property, slate worried about smells that could cover the village.
Peter Paul spoke out for an on-site visit to the storage area. Philipp Kuhn asked for an immission control report. He wanted to know whether the containers with the screenings were only reloaded or cleaned on site. In the neighboring town of Burgsinn, where the waste disposal company has so far carried out the process, nasty smells wafted across the parking lot of the local grocery store and caused trouble. Paul further explained that the waste disposal company would like to relocate its headquarters.
A member of the committee spoke out in favor of taking the wastewater association and the water management office on board because of the discharge of wastewater. It is also important to take precautions against penetrating seepage juices. The majority of the committee spoke in favor of a presentation of the project in the local council.
User agreement for social gathering is still missing
The premises of the social gathering are already busy, but a user contract for the rental of the house is still missing, Mayor Paul called up the agenda item. The administration has drawn up such a regulation, which provides for a user fee of ten euros per hour per room. A deposit of 50 euros will also be charged. Dirk Schiefer interjected that the use begins with the clearing of the room and ends with the completion of the clearing out. With the approval of the committee, this passage will still be included in the user contract.
The result of the survey on the Burgsinner swimming pool is available. It is clear that money is missing everywhere, explained Peter Paul. So far, his community has paid an amount of two euros per inhabitant as support. The committee considered his suggestion to adjust the donation to € 2,000 a year despite tight budgets as “set an example” and gave the green light.
Arguments for rebuilding the Mittelinner train station
Deputy Mayor Dirk Schiefer took the opportunity to speak to Elmar Hirsch, director of Würzburg station management, who is professionally associated with him and who is at the “round table” for the barrier-free train stations in Sinngrund. As a train driver, Schiefer knows almost all of the region’s platforms and has valid arguments for a conversion of the Mittelinner station.
Hirsch was optimistic and recommended that the feasibility study commissioned be awaited. The Bundestag MPs Rützel and Hoffmann support the ambitious project, which provides for the installation of barrier-free train stations in Sinngrund during the full closure of the railway line in 2024. Mayor Peter Paul, on the other hand, even sees his community discriminated if Mittelinn as the only community in Sinngrund does not have access to the platform for disabled people.
Dirk Schiefer complained about the traffic being impaired by an unauthorized banner at the entrance to the new restaurant “Chari Pizza Pasta”. The large advertising area hides the cyclists arriving from the bike path and endangers them considerably. The mayor promised to take care of the problem.
