Offenbacher Yüksel Acun is getting off to a flying start with his comedy on TikTok and Instagram. He wants to open an ice cream parlor soon.

Offenbach – Comedian Yüksel Acun from Offenbach inspires fans in his TikTok videos with a wide range of jokes. He doesn’t shy away from taking aim at his hometown: Would you like an example?: “Our cigarette packs now say, ‘Take another one, so that it goes faster'”. Offenbach is also the only place where the 41-year-old saw a wedding parade in which no cars but e-scooters were driven. “The groom said: ‘Hey guys, that’s enough, let’s go to the hall, I already have nine euros on it'”.

With such sayings, the comedian hits the nerve of the audience. On his TikTok channel @blacktaxi_frankfurt the 41-year-old has over 200,000 followers. Acun likes to play with the clichés about Offenbach. In addition to laughing at the city on the Main, he also likes to embarrass couples who come to his comedy shows. In one of his TikTok videos he asks the male part: “Kim Kardashian or her”? The girlfriend sits next to her and laughs. Especially in the current time, it is important to laugh a lot and extensively, says Acun in an interview.

I think anything can be joked about on stage.

He himself has a very broad sense of humor. Nevertheless, it is always necessary to distinguish whether jokes are shared on stage or via Instagram. “If I comment on something on Instagram, then I post it as a private person, on stage it’s art,” explains Offenbacher.

Offenbach comedian used to work as a taxi driver

Acun worked as a taxi driver while in college. “When I did it a bit more luxuriously and drove the business people through Frankfurt all day, I had a lot of time,” he reports. At some point he started uploading videos to TikTok. Comedian Faisal Kawusi noticed him on Instagram when he was in Frankfurt am Main. “I then worked for him as a comedy writer for a while.” But at some point the Offenbacher felt the urge to be on stage himself.

“You can’t learn to be funny, you either are or you aren’t,” says Acun. It is important with his laughter to make things come alive. “You see something and wrap it up nicely.” In the future, he hopes to be able to make even more people smile. Because for him it is clear that laughter heals and makes healthy. His fans can also look forward to ice cream from Acun soon. The 41-year-old wants to open an ice cream parlor.

Yüksel Acun from Offenbach helps the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey

Acun doesn’t just want to bring people joy through his comedy. “Especially after the devastating earthquake in Syria and Turkey, it was important to me to help and to let the shows rest,” says the 41-year-old. Shortly after the disaster, he used his reach on Instagram and TikTok to organize donations of money and clothing for the earthquake victims. But now it is all the more important to put a smile on people’s faces again. (Marvin Hinrichsen)

Another TikTok phenomenon: In the Cinemaxx in Offenbach, young people start bullying during the film “Creed III”, throwing bottles and popcorn. Behind this is a questionable challenge.
