A Sony Interactive Entertainment remind all players that the promotion in the subscriptions of the PlayStation Plus remains in effect until January 13. This means that those who subscribe to PlayStation Plus and do not currently have an active subscription will be able to continue to enjoy discounts on 3 months and 12 months Extra and Premium subscriptions.
With this Promotion, on the other hand, current subscribers with 1, 3 and 12 month subscriptions can take advantage of a 30% discount on upgrades to Extra and Premium.
- PlayStation Plus Essential: Includes two downloadable games per month at no extra cost; exclusive discounts on the PlayStation Store; cloud storage for game recordings and access to online multiplayer.
- Extra PlayStation Plus: Includes the same benefits as the PlayStation Plus Essential tier plus a catalog of up to 400 of the best titles for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, featuring greatest hits from PlayStation Studios and other major publishers. At this level, games are transferable.
- Playstation Plus Premium: Includes the same benefits as the PlayStation Plus Essential and PlayStation Plus Extra tier plus an additional 340 games including PS3 titles, available via cloud streaming, a catalog of popular classics from the original PlayStation, PS2 and PSP, available to play via stream or download. Streaming of original PlayStation, PS2, PSP and PS4 games included in PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Premium tiers is available in markets where PlayStation Now is currently available. Players can access the livestream from PS4 and PS5 consoles or PC. This tier also includes access to time-limited games, so players can try out certain titles before buying.
