Ukraine defeated Austria in the subgroup F duel in Ljubljana with a score of 70:67 (16:14, 13:16, 21:15, 20:22).
Oleksandr Mišula was the most productive in the Ukrainian team with 20 points, but Denis Lukashov scored 14 points. Benedict Gittl scored 16 points for the Austrians, but Bogici Vujoševičs scored 15 points.

The winners were 14 points by Jake Cohen and 12 points by Gal Meckel. The Poles were the most productive with 23 points at the expense of Mateusz Poņitka, while 15 points were at the expense of Mihala Sokolovskis.
Later in this group, Spain and Romania will fight each other.
In sub-group A, the leader with four wins in four games is Israel, two wins in four matches are for Poland, Spain has one success in three battles, and Romania has three failures.
In Tallinn, meanwhile, Italy prevailed over Russia in subgroup B with 70:66 (15:15, 21:16, 14:13, 20:22).
Amadeo Tesitori played the best game of his career in the Italian national team, scoring 27 points and winning nine rebounds. Andrejs Voroncevičs scored for the Russians with 11 points and 11 balls under the baskets.
An Estonian-Northern Macedonian duel was due to take place in Tallinn on Monday, but a Covid-19 outbreak was detected in the Balkan national team.
In the sub-group, the leader with three wins in three games is Italy, two successes in four matches are in Russia, one in three games is against Estonia, but Northern Macedonia has lost in both past dues.
In subgroup E, Georgia defeated Switzerland in the Finnish city of Espoo with 91:84 (27:24, 19:15, 19:15, 26:30).
Georgia scored 24 points by Ted McPheiden, but 17 points, six rebounds and five assists were won by Tornik Shengelia. Switzerland scored 19 points and seven balls under the baskets were won by Marko Mladžans, but Roberto Kovačs had 17 points.
In Group E, Georgia takes first place with four wins in four games, but one success each for Serbia and Finland, which have won three fights, and Switzerland, which has played four duels.
There are 32 teams participating in the qualifying tournament, divided into eight groups. Out of the four groups in which the countries organizing the final tournament (Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy and Germany) play, the top two teams qualify for the final tournament, and from the other four – three each. The games take place in three national “windows” – in February and November 2020, as well as in February 2021.
The final tournament of the European Championship was moved from next year to 2022. The final tournament will take place next year from September 1 to 18 in four countries – the Czech Republic (Prague), Georgia (Tbilisi), Italy (Milan) and Germany (group tournament in Cologne, playoffs in Berlin). 24 teams will take part in it.
In addition to the hosts of the tournament, Croatia, Greece, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Slovenia and Ukraine have also provided travel tickets.
