Review the most commented in the week just past.

As every Saturday we present our section T13 Trendingwhich reveals the most commented of the week on the social networks of our site T13.cl.

On this occasion the themes are the rock from Mars captured by the Maple Bug, the popularity of Hey Arnold in Chile and the new thing on Instagram, the “spontaneous”.

Maple Bug

We have just completed a month of autumn and these videos are multiplying. A few weeks ago the Agricultural and Livestock Service (SAG) gave notice that in this season of the year, the Maple Bug it could enter homes seeking shelter and cause a bit of a nuisance. But, this week many network users shared their encounters with this bug.

It disturbs a little that they appear in large groups, but It is not considered a pestbecause it does not cause considerable damage to trees nor does it represent a risk to people.

Las Condes on alert for invasion of maple bugs

Now, what many are looking for on the internet is what to do so that they do not enter homes. The SAG recommends sealing window openings, doors, or cracks through which they can enter. Also, some people have placed fly screens, so that they can still open the windows and ventilate the home.

But, what to do when they have entered the house? The SAG recommends sweeping or vacuuming them, leaving them in a bag and throwing them away. Also collect maple seeds from the patio or garden, because that’s what they feed on. Fumigation is not recommended, since it can affect other species such as bees or cause poisoning in pets or people.

Hey Arnold

Many of us saw this series as children, it marked our childhood, at costume parties some were dressed as the characters as Helga Pataki or the same Arnold, but this week its creator, Craig Bartlett mentioned Chile in the podcast “The Arnold”. What did she say?

Basically the same creator of Hey Arnold highlighted Chile as one of the countries with the most fans of the series in Latin America. Yes, he also mentioned Argentina and Mexico, but the users who send him the most messages on social networks are Chilean.

“Spontaneous” from Instagram

Instagram surprised this week with a new modality, although with a bit of controversy due to its similarity with the social network BeReal. Is about “Spontaneous”something similar to the already famous Stories, but the difference is that it is a photograph of what you are doing here and now.
