T-Mobile expands the channel offer of the TV service TV Anywhere to ‘more than a hundred channels’. A trial is currently underway. The provider expects that in August all T-Mobile TV customers will be able to watch more than 115 channels, although this will include pay channels.
At the moment there are several dozen channels on TV Anywhere. TV Anywhere is a free TV service for customers who purchase TV from T-Mobile. They can watch television via an app. T-Mobile says to Totaal TV that it will soon expand the range of channels.
Ultimately, T-Mobile wants to make 115 channels available through the service. According to the provider, that depends on the subscription that customers have. These are additional TV subscriptions such as sports or film channels. In any case, the channels from the basic package of T-Mobile TV can be viewed on TV Anywhere.
T-Mobile is currently conducting a trial among a small number of customers, according to Totaal TV. In the course of August, the provider expects to make the mobile TV service available to all customers. Customers must have a TV package from T-Mobile Thuis for this. Recently the company started with the roll-out of the new interactive TV service T-Mobile TV. It replaces the older Interactive TV.
