The vice president and general manager of T-Mobile Puerto Rico, Jorge Martel announced that the company collaborated with the entertainment project El Distrito, which will now be named the T-Mobile District.
Although he did not specify the amount of the investment of the telecommunications company in El Distrito, Martel said in a press conference that they have invested $ 450 million in the Island since the passing of hurricanes Irma and María.
“It is a time now to invest in Puerto Rico, it is a time to work in Puerto Rico,” said the company’s spokesman.
It was also detailed that as part of the collaboration with the T-Mobile District, customers will be able to access exclusive offers through the T-Mobile Tuesdays application. This will include concert tickets, one hour of additional parking, among others.
Similarly, they detailed that there will be charging stations throughout the entertainment center. Also, the company spokesman explained that T-Mobile customers will have a VIP line to enter Coca Cola Music Hall faster. For this they will have to show their T-Mobile phone.
Contribution to economic development
T-Mobile District is the first T-Mobile property outside the continental United States.

The 476,000-square-foot center features a Caribbean Cinemas VIP movie theater; Toro Verde ziplines, a virtual reality game center complete with laser tag, bowling, various restaurants and a digital display system consisting of 14,000 square feet of LED screens, including one of the largest 4K horizontal screens in the United States.
In addition, the Coca-Cola Music Hall will serve as the venue for concerts and shows. The offer includes the first Aloft hotel in the Caribbean.
