Feyenoord returned to Rotterdam after a training camp in Portugal. Arne Slot’s team will resume preparations for the second half of the season today at the 1908 training complex. RTV Richmond the coach can again have three Feyenoord players at his disposal.
Sebastian Szymański returns to the squad after attending the World Cup in Qatar with Poland. The midfielder took extra time off and resumed training today. Justin Bijlow later joins Feyenoord.
Lutsharel Geertruida and Gernot Trauner also returned to action. The defenders have not yet been able to fully train due to injuries, but are now fit enough to join. The selection trains four times this week. The exhibition match against the Go Ahead Eagles is scheduled for Friday, December 23rd.

The Brazilian Danilo still trains separately from the group. The 22-year-old forward was injured and therefore unable to attend Feyenoord’s training matches against RC Strasbourg and Stade Rennais. Oussama Idrissi trains part of the group. As known, Mats Wieffer is absent. It is not yet known how long the midfielder will have to sit by with an injury.
