Scientists and researchers in various countries of the world are working on studies and experiments to reveal the behavior of the emerging corona virus, and to reach a vaccine against the epidemic, or use a drug to reduce the symptoms or treatment of the disease, after it infected more than 10.5 million people, and killed more than half a million others.
In a new medical study, published in the medical journal “Sea Reports Medicine”, scientists monitored the ability of the emerging corona virus to infect infected heart cells, indicating that the new epidemic is not just a lethal type of influenza as many believe.
Scientists conducted accurate experiments inside a laboratory, using stem cells to produce heart cells, so that they could monitor the effect of the virus on the heart muscle.
Medical reports received from America and a number of European countries during the last period, indicate that some patients (COFED-19), which is a disease resulting from infection of the new Corona virus, suffer from heart disorders without a clear reason at the time.
Researchers are now likely to be caused by pre-existing heart problems, or by inflammation and hypoxia.
Aaron Sharma, a researcher at the Cedars-Sinai Center, and one of the scientists who conducted the laboratory experiment say that the heart cells that were infected with the Corona virus are no longer able to beat at the same pace after 72 hours of infection.
He continued that the infection spreads quickly in the cells of the heart muscle, which means that it does not only infect it, but it also spreads the infection in the cells of the heart muscle.
He added: The heart cells that underwent the experiment experienced a genetic change after being injected with the virus.
For his part, says one of the participants in the laboratory study, that the experiment demonstrated that coronaviruses may reach the heart and may threaten the heart failure or inflammation, contrary to what was known that the impact of the epidemic through only respiratory symptoms, stressing that the study demonstrated that there are other symptoms.
A scientific study published in the scientific journal “Cell”, last June, described the swelling of the virus on human cells with zombies.
The study stated that deformed “zombie” cells use claws to reach the surrounding healthy cells, injected with their viral name, specifically in the genetic leadership center of that cell, and thus produce “another zombie”.
Another medical study revealed that coronaviruses affect all parts of the human body, even if the (Covid-19) disease caused by the Corona virus is considered primarily a respiratory disease.
It is noteworthy that the American Medical Association warned last April 10 that some Corona patients suffer from heart disorders without a clear cause at the time.
The medical association revealed that, out of every 5 patients, one or more people suffered from heart problems, after a study of 187 patients who had been infected with the epidemic.
