The Surinaamsche Waterleiding Maatschappij (SWM) reports in a press release that the water supply will not be interrupted on Monday 6 September. “All consumers will receive normal water from the tap as usual. It is therefore not necessary to store water”.
The water company announces the above in response to messages on social media indicating that the water supply is not guaranteed from Monday.
The management asks the community to continue to follow official messages from society.
