Bern is the capital of Switzerland and a stronghold for (federal) offices, institutions and associations from different areas of mobility. With attractive offers, the redesign of traffic arteries and organizational measures, the canton and city of Bern want to get people to rethink and adapt their mobility behaviour, for example through rental schemes, the creation of meeting zones or the ‘expansion of public transport fare network. And they do it successfully, as one She studies says since March 2019: No city dweller is more satisfied with their transport policy than that of Bern.
With the WiM Hub Switzerland we want to network exciting women from the mobility sector. To improve traffic it is not enough to be on your own and leave the field only to men. Women bring new approaches and ideas to the mobility debate. Because only together can we create change towards better and more sustainable mobility!
And don’t worry: we leave room for professional exchange, questions, networking and mutual empowerment. In addition to our #MoveUps, we’re open to partnering with larger events, like the Swiss Mobility Arena.
