In Perles (BE), a man was helicoptered by Rega after falling on a bicycle. In the canton of Zurich, an 87-year-old woman was hit by a car.

On Friday, shortly before 2:30 p.m., a cyclist fell heavily while traveling towards Perles (BE) station on the Büren road from Longeau. The man fell at the level of the brickyard, reveals a press release from the Bernese cantonal police.
Paramedics quickly intervened and were able to provide first aid. The man was then flown by Rega to the hospital.
The Büren road had to be closed for approximately 90 minutes to allow the intervention and to carry out work relating to the accident. An investigation has been launched to establish the causes.
Severely affected in the head
In Affoltern am Albis, in the canton of Zurich, an 87-year-old cyclist was struck by a passing car on Friday afternoon. Despite wearing a helmet, the octogenarian was seriously injured in the head.
Police are still unaware of the exact circumstances of the collision that led to the cyclist’s fall. The latter was taken to hospital, said the cantonal police in a statement. The 82-year-old motorist was unharmed.
–The bike ended up on the sidewalk.
