So far, TV5 Monde has been supported by public broadcasters in France, Belgium, Canada and Switzerland. Monaco will be added in the future.

Switzerland today approved a corresponding application by the Principality. The Federal Department of the Environment, Transport, Energy and Communication will sign the necessary documents. It will only be possible to join the network if all of the sponsoring states accept the application.
Monaco does not yet have a public broadcaster. The small state is currently building a national television station for the first time. This is to deliver productions to TV5 Monde in the coming year.
