Tennis players from Switzerland and Croatia will meet in the final of the Hopman Cup. The Croatians beat Spain 2:1 in their last match in Group B.
First, Dona Vekičová easily defeated Rebeka Masárová 6:2, 6:1, in the men’s singles Carlos Alcaraz leveled the score at 1:1. The world number one defeated Borna Čorič 6:3, 6:7 (5) and 10:5. In the decisive doubles, the Croatian pair triumphed 1:6, 6:4 and 14:12.
The final is scheduled for Sunday from 16.00. First, Celine Naefová and Vekičová will face each other, then Čorič will meet Leandro Riedi (18.00). The final doubles match will start at 21.00.
