Halimah (36) I was beyond shocked when I found the passenger’s wallet that was left behind at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Officer cleaning service I was surprised because the wallet contained a check worth IDR 35.9 billion.
As the person in charge, Halimah did not necessarily go dark with the findings of the check. The Tangerang, Banten resident prefers to return the check to Aviation Security (Avsec) PT Angkasa Pura II for safekeeping.
Halimah’s story began when on Friday (29/10), at around 10.00 WIB, she was busy with her job as a teacher cleaning service. That morning, the waiting room area of Terminal 2E Soekarno-Hatta Airport was indeed busy with passengers.
“That day was October 29, Friday at 10. The condition of the airport was quite crowded and there was a queue in the central area of the upper corridor and found a brown wallet on the chair,” Halimah said when met at Soetta Airport, Saturday (10/30/2021) .
Suddenly Halimah’s eyes were fixed on a purse on an empty chair. He took the wallet and rushed to report to the security of PT Angkasa Pura II.
“Yes, at that time we were mobile, finish I was combing the area and at that time I saw that there was a wallet that was left behind and at that time we reported it directly to the security,” Halimah explained.
Wallet Filled with Checks Worth IDR 35.9 M
Halimah then opened the wallet with security officers. When opened, it turns out that the wallet contains a check worth IDR 35.9 billion, passports, passbooks, masks and hand sanitizer, and some cash.
“That day, security was immediately seen, from 5 savings cards there were BCA, Mandiri, and BNI and there were also passports listed,” said Halimah.
Halimah admitted that she was surprised because she did not think that there was a check in the wallet with a value of Rp. 35.9 billion. Halimah chose not to take the wallet because he realized the item was not his right.
“Yes, I was surprised by the fantastic value, I didn’t think it contained so many checks,” Halimah explained.
