A Swedish man in his 70s died. This is confirmed by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs TV 4.
Six Danes have been sent to hospital after the accident with minor injuries. This is confirmed by the travel company Detur, which the tourists travel with, to Danish Extra Bladet.
– We have staff on site who help and support everyone involved, so that is our biggest priority. At present, we have no information about what may have caused the accident, nor do we want to speculate about the cause, the travel company says in a statement.
Ragnhild Simenstad, communications adviser at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, informs TV 2 that there is no information that Norwegians are involved.
