Truls Möregårdh started against Ioannis Sqouropoulos, whom he knows well as a club mate in Eslöv a few years ago. Truls excelled and offered several delicacies and easily won 3-0 in sets.
Anton Källberg did not want to be worse either, but had a pressure and pace that his opponent was nowhere near and even here it was a victory in three straight.
Jon Persson had not played a competitive match since the European Championships in June, but showed no ring rust for it.
He also easily maneuvered out his opponent in straight sets.
– Nice to be able to play matches again and get in match tempo. I am most satisfied with my services, even if the resistance was not the most difficult, said Jon Persson.
The victory meant that it will be a decisive match against Belgium on Thursday to secure a place in the quarterfinals.
