The teaser also displays the launch date of the Grand Vitara. This car will be introduced at the 2023 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) automotive exhibition at JIEXpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta on 16 February 2023.

The new Suzuki Grand Vitara has launched in India. However, this legendary SUV is not new to Indonesia. Previously, Suzuki had been selling the Grand Vitara in Indonesia.

Finally, the Suzuki Grand Vitara was sold in Indonesia in 2018. At that time, the Gand Vitara was imported from Japan. The country of origin is no longer producing Grand Vitara so the car is no longer sold in Indonesia.

At that time, the Suzuki Grand Vitara was mostly purchased by fleet consumers. Its customers are said to come from private and government institutions.

Now, Suzuki will most likely give birth to the newest Grand Vitara in Indonesia. The difference is that the latest Suzuki Grand Vitara doesn’t have a ‘cone’ anymore or a spare tire that is positioned at the rear trunk door.

The latest Suzuki Grand Vitara is also said to be more fuel efficient. In India, the Grand Vitara has two engine versions. The Grand Vitara hybrid comes with a 1.5L Intelligent Electric Hybrid engine which has a pretty good fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/liter. While the other uses a 1.5 K-Series Dual Jet engine, Dual VVT with Progressive Smart Hybrid with a fuel consumption of 21.11 km/liter.
