Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment announced yesterday that the release from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor postponed would. The continuation of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was just last month with one spectacular gameplay trailer announced for March 2023. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor won’t be out until April

It was announced on social media yesterday that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now available on 28. April 2023 will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Overall, that means a little over a month’s delay for fans, as Survivor was originally scheduled to release on March 17th.

Although actual work on the game is now complete, Respawn announced that they still need more time to polish the title a bit before release. In their statement on Twitter you write:

“For the past three years, the Jedi team here at Respawn have poured their collective heart and soul into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we are proud to say that the content of the next chapter in the Cal Kestis story has come to a close is. We are now fully focused on the last phase: bug fixes to improve performance, stability, polish and most importantly the gameplay experience.

To help the team meet the Respawn quality bar, give the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we’ve extended our release schedule by six crucial weeks – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is now April 28 worldwide to appear.”

Even if fans now have to be patient until the release, this delay is all in all not very big. If you want, you can while away the waiting time in March with other new releases, such as the remake of Resident Evil 4„WWE 2K23“ oder „MLB The Show 23“.
