From distant lands, ferocious enemies, choosing an archetype and everything in between, there’s a lot involved in playing REMNANT II alone or with friends in co-op. The new video released today provides an overview of what players will encounter and how they can survive in the unforgiving lands ahead.

REMNANT II from Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games, arrives on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 25, 2023. Players who purchase the REMNANT II Ultimate Edition digitally will receive early access and can start playing on July 21. Pre-orders for all digital editions will unlock the Gunslinger Archetype early.

REMNANT II plunges players deeper into a devastated world that demands a mix of methodical and frantic ranged and melee combat against cunning foes and punishing boss fights. Enter the fray as a lone wolf or even the odds by teaming up with two friends to overcome daunting challenges. Each time players start a new playthrough of REMNANT II, ​​they are transported to a new world built from a wide pool of locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, and weapons. These dynamically constructed levels make for unique experiences as elements are organically woven into the world and story.

An updated Archetype system gives players more flexibility in their playstyle and allows groups to better sync unique passive abilities and amazing powers in co-op play. Multiple Archetypes can be unlocked, leveled up and outfitted together for a wider variety of playstyles.
