TRIBUNNEWS.COM – This is a reading of the letter of Al Kahfi verses 1-10, complete with the priority of reading it on Friday.
Every Friday, Muslims are encouraged to read Surah Al Kahf.
This is stated in the hadith of the Prophet SAW about the virtues of the letter of Al Kahfi.
“Whoever reads the letter of Al-Kahfi on Friday, the light will illuminate him between the two Fridays.” (HR. Al-Hakim).
It is known that the letter of Al Kahfi is the 18th letter in the Qur’an which consists of 110 verses.
Surat Al Kahfi belongs to surat Makiyyah, except verses 38 and 86 to 101 which are Madaniyyah verses.

Surat Al-Kahfi Verses 1-10:
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
الهۡمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡۤ اۡۤنزۡلَ عَلٰى عَبۡدِهِ الۡكِتٰبَ وَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلْ لَّهٗ عِوَجًا 1
Alhamdu lillaahil laziii anzala ‘alaa ‘abdihil kitaaba wa lam yaj’al lahuu ‘iwajaa
