Supreme Court invalidates the Nuevo León Congress process for sanction

“The local Congress created a special procedure to sanction the holder of the local Executive Power, instead of sticking to the system of responsibility contemplated at the Constitutional level and also provided for in local legislation to apply said norms in the process under review,” indicates the approved project.

The failure of the Supreme Court it does not exempt the governor from a punishment, since articles 109 and 110 of the federal Constitution indicate that the sanction process must start from the houses of deputies and senators.
