Elst – The theft of a shopping cart full of nearly three hundred cans of Red Bull has caused quite a stir this week, but for a supermarket such theft is not exceptional. In fact, it is almost daily routine that somewhere in the country customers do not pay for a well-stocked shopping cart. For major grocers, this means an annual loss of millions of euros.
