Summer Course Explores Gender Violence, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and the Internet

The Summer Course ‘Gender Violence. Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Internet’ concludes tomorrow, Wednesday July 5, at the University of La Rioja with a session in which Tahis Ruis de Alda, founder and executive director of Digitalfems, offers the conference ‘Data against noise’.

Together with her, María Murnau, director of communication and marketing at Commscious, offers the conference ‘Feminisms on Instragram’; and the day concludes with the Digital Violence Workshop by Mª Soraya Tejada Sánchez, Noelia Barbed Castrejón and Iratxe Suberviola Ovejas, from the Department of Educational Sciences of the University of La Rioja.

The Summer Course ‘Gender Violence. Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Internet’ is sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Corporate Social Responsibility. Equality and Inclusion Unit of the University of La Rioja and the Government of La Rioja, as well as by the Ministry of Equality and the State Pact against gender violence of the Government of Spain.

This activity is part of the UR 2023 Summer Courses, which take place from June 14 to September 29 in Arnedo, Calahorra, Logroño, Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Treviana, as well as in the Swiss city of Geneva. They are managed by the Foundation of the University of La Rioja.
