“It would be nice if the welcome monuments in the Ciamis city area had begun to be replaced or changed. Like the border monument that was built by the Ciamis Regency Government in Panawangan District,” said Wagino, Member of the DPRD Ciamis from the PKB faction, Tuesday (12/07/2022).
According to him, if you look at the welcome monument building in Imbanagara and Cijeungjing sub-districts, it should be replaced. No longer using only iron frames, but there are other buildings as a characteristic of Ciamis Regency.
Wagino also assessed that the border monument building in Panawangan District, which is currently still under construction, looks very majestic.
He also suggested that the shape of the border monument or other welcome monument would be the same as the border monument in Panawangan District.
“If you look at the welcome monument in Central Java and East Java, the building indicates the characteristics of the area. So when you pass by and enter it, there is a different aura,” said Wagino.

Border Monuments Must Have Ciamis Characteristics

“It’s just a suggestion, which can apply the local government itself. In this case the Regent of Ciamis as a policy maker. Hopefully in the future this suggestion can be implemented for Ciamis to be even better, “he said.
