To prevent breast cancer, jointly between the Querétaro State DIF and the Pedro Escobedo SMDIF, through the Community Development Coordination, they carried out the Day of Mammograms benefiting 60 women.
With the objective of promoting awareness and prevention of this disease, which represents one of the causes of mortality in Mexican women; In the community of Ignacio Pérez and nearby towns, attendees were able to perform this important first-rate medical timely diagnosis service through free mammograms.
The general director of the DIF Municipal System of Pedro Escobedo, Fabiola Altamirano Marroquín, expressed her gratitude to the president of the DIF State System, Mrs. Car Herrera de Kuri, for bringing to the municipality these initiatives that promote health and well-being in the women’s sector.
