Subway Drivers’ Strike Results in Complete Suspension of London’s Underground System

The strike is being organized by the Associated Society of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen (ASLEF) and the Rail, Shipping and Transport Workers Union (RMT) to protest against planned changes to working conditions.

“This strike is not about raising wages or wanting more time off.
