AMSTELVEEN – The number of Amstelveen patients with the coronavirus has risen sharply again. On Saturday evening, the GGD Amsterdam – Amstelland reported a number of 75 infections. This means that 1 in 1,200 Amstelveners carries the virus.
In the neighboring municipalities of Aalsmeer and Uithoorn, 17 and 15 infections are reported respectively.
The total number of people tested positive in the Netherlands is now 10,866. 771 people died from the virus.
