The government of Lower Franconia has granted Markt Zell am Main (Würzburg district) 14,500 euros for the purchase of an MTW personnel carrier for the Zell am Main volunteer fire brigade. According to the government press release, this procurement measure will replace an MTW personnel carrier built in 1994.
The personnel transport vehicle is a fire-fighting vehicle with a maximum permissible total mass of four tons, suitable for accommodating at least one squadron (six people) and a maximum of one group (nine people). It is primarily intended for transporting a team.
