A particularly impressive performance by the second German group opponent at the European Championship (June 19, 6 p.m.): Portugal even has more followers (12.6 million) than the country’s population (10.3 million) on its social media channels . An unbelievable follower / resident quota (122.3 percent) that no other country comes close to. This is of course partly due to Ronaldo, who has over 295 million followers (!) On Instagram alone. On the other hand, the EM triumph in 2016 will have caused a boom in the number of followers. For comparison: Vice World Champion Croatia in second place with a total of 1.3 million followers and a population of 4.1 million comes to a rate of 31.7 percent.
