This afternoon the residents of Justo Daract were affected by a strong storm front that caused trees to fall, broke windows and left several areas of the town without power. It was reported that four teams were formed from the Municipality to assist the people.
Mayor Alfredo Domínguez is touring the neighborhoods to assess the damage from the storm.
Magalí Girardi, Secretary of Institutional Relations and Communications of Justo Daract, indicated that the storm began at 6:00 p.m. and lasted about 15 minutes.
The official said that the first thing they felt and saw was the strong wind, then came the intense rain and hail.
In the images spread by different social networks you can see how a “wall” of earth and wind was approaching the city, but the neighbors did not think that the consequences were going to be so serious in the run-up to Christmas Eve.
From Edesal it was reported that groups of company technicians are touring the town’s power lines. The statement states: “Work is underway to supply energy to the eastern part from the city of Villa Mercedes. Then we will try to normalize the Justo Daract lines when it is safe because there is a lot of danger” in the area.
