Prime Video would like to make a Mass Effect series but it gets a lot of criticism.
EA and Amazon announced they may be in a deal to jointly create a Mass Effectto create series. But not everyone is really happy about that.
Former Bioware writer David Gaider recently commented on the news, saying he’s really sorry to hear about it. He wrote a long series of posts on Twitter explaining why the project shouldn’t happen.

“I’m relieved to see that the Mass Effect/Amazon deal has been made for a potential television series and not a movie”, said Gaider.
“Nonetheless, I find it a chilling suggestion (just like for Dragon Age), unlike a lot of fans, who seem to be excited?”
He then elaborated on the story that Mass Effect was deliberately not a game with a protagonist. Everyone could make their own hero. Whatever creative choices are made for Mass Effect, fans will feel alienated from the franchise they love so much.
