Decision to strengthen the inspection of expatriates living for rent in Abu Dhabi. The inspection will be strengthened from January 1st. Illegal maintenance of buildings or apartments, illegal occupation of multiple families or bachelors living in family spaces can result in hefty fines.
This decision will be a blow to ordinary expats living without much income.
