Ms. Unternurer, you research on mobile phone use within families and have just reported in this newspaper on a current study on children. but who has the more problematic consumption – parents or children?
Of course that is different. But it can be said that parental use has a major impact on how children interact with digital media. After all, parents are the first role models. If they can hardly put the cell phone down for a few hours, you can’t expect the children to do better later. But there are other negative effects of parents constantly staring at their smartphones.
