Streamer Vio has accused Sexual Harassment Director of Twitch Strategic Partnership Hassan Bohari. She wrote about this on twitter.
Vio noted that Hassan wanted to get her phone number and other contacts, abusing her official position. He sent her a form through which Twitch contacted partners to send gifts for Christmas, although she did not have a contract with the platform. Vio told Hassan about this, but he replied that she should not worry, because “soon she will become a partner.”
After that, the top manager invited the girl to have dinner, but she refused, since they lived in different parts of the country. Hassan invited her to fly to him in Maryland, but Vio ignored his request. An employee of Twitch was persistent and invited her to fly to PAX East, where they “finally can have dinner in private.” He also promised her access to the event. From this moment, Vio and Hassan began to communicate much more often, and he fell into confidence in the girl. But over time, he became more and more persistent.
In the process of communication, the Twitch top manager often manipulated the topic of partnership, without bringing it to its logical conclusion. Vio already seemed that she would not be able to conclude an agreement with the platform and even changed her mind about sending an application, but at that moment Hassan sent her the form that she signed.
When he met at PAX East, he did everything to stay alone with Vio, and each time he pressed on her and forced her to be close. Despite repeated no answers, Hassan did not stop. One evening, he called the girl before she was about to go to bed. Vio noted that she was drunk that day, but had such a good time that she did not want the day to end. Hassan again began to pester the streamer, but she again refused him. After that, he asked her to sit on her lap. Vio did not want to upset the guy further and agreed. He began to put his hands in her pants to her, but the girl again interrupted him. This went on several times.
Streamers noted that this was exactly the way their interaction happened – each time Hassan allowed himself more and repeated it until she gave up. As a result, he managed to get Vio to first have oral sex with him, and then normal.
The Twitch administration previously announced that banned all streamers accused of sexual harassment. At the time of publication of the material, the platform management did not comment on the statements of Vio.
