Storm Ciara did further damage in the early morning. At around 8 a.m. on Monday morning, part of the cladding of the Novotel in Lille dropped.
To prevent metal plates from falling on motorists, the ring road is D651, the Boulevard de Turin and the parking lot were cut off from traffic.
Just before 10 a.m., traffic on the ring road was restored.

Nearly 1,000 interventions in the North for firefighters
Storm Ciara did a lot of damage overnight. Soaring roofs, fallen trees, power outages have been reported. Northern firefighters have responded almost 1,000 times in the past 24 hours.
