still 148 cases confirmed by PCR test in Guadeloupe, no

Guadeloupe has 148 cumulative cases of coronavirus confirmed by PCR test. No new officially registered cases. This is the latest assessment communicated by the Regional Health Agency. 15 people are hospitalized, 12 of whom are in intensive care and 76 are declared cured.

No new cases identified in our region in the last 24 hours, according to the latest report published by the Regional Health Agency. This still brings to 148 the number of confirmed cases (in cumulative data and by PCR test) in Guadeloupe.

Among these confirmed cases, 15 patients are hospitalized at the CHU of Guadeloupe. 12 are placed in intensive care, 3 in medicine. An already confirmed patient was re-hospitalized at the Center hospitalier de Basse-Terre. There are none at the Marie-Galante Hospital Center.

The extension of PCR tests on the territory to patients with little symptom or at particular risk has started in order to precisely assess the level of circulation of the virus beyond the epidemiological monitoring implemented for a month by Santé Publique France.

Since March 13, the number of deaths recorded has been 9.

36% of confirmed patients are between 44 and 64 years old.

All these figures do not take into account consultations for respiratory infections by city doctors. These data are therefore to be put into perspective. The virus is still circulating. Keep your distance and imperatively respect confinement. Confinement reduces social interactions and therefore limits the spread of the virus. It is imperative that we all see ourselves as carriers of the virus and that we adopt the right behaviors.

This Wednesday April 22, 2020, A total of 76 people are declared cured by infectious diseases.
