Paul Steidl from the Ducks was part of the national team and can now call himself Vice European Champion in flag football. Head coach Michael Salamon also saw an intense game: “It was the difficult game we expected. We gave everything, gave everything on the field. The joy about the silver medal clearly outshines the disappointment about a potential gold medal. “I’m very proud of the team and of the silver medal. We put in a top performance throughout the tournament and in the end we didn’t miss a lot of gold.”
