The board of directors has Steffen Guttenbacher (48) appointed to the Board of Directors of VPV Versicherungen (VPV) on September 1, 2022. Since May 2021 he has been responsible for the Composite, Service and General Services department as General Manager.
Guttenbacher joined VPV Service GmbH in November 2020 as Managing Director and headed the areas of customer and broker service (application, policy, claims/benefits), general services, process management and service controlling. The graduate MBA and Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) has been working in the insurance industry for over 30 years and brings with him extensive industry expertise.

His professional focus is in the areas of controlling/corporate development, product technology, digital transformation as well as service and claims management. In his previous professional positions, he held various management positions for Karlsruher Lebensversicherung, Württembergische Versicherung and W&W-AG.
