Stefania Liberakakis (17) from Utrecht is taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam for Greece. The Greek public broadcaster ERT has announced this.
The Greek-Dutch singer joins in with the song Supergirl, a pop song with influences of typical Greek music.
“It is so strange to realize that this dream has actually come true,” says Liberakakis, who will perform during the second semifinal on 14 May. “I watch the Eurovision Song Contest every year and every year I am amazed how fat it would be to be there myself. The fact that the Greek broadcaster has now approached me to represent my country is really crazy. “
