The businessman Fantefan Mandachiknown for launching the protest and for building, symbolically, the first meter of highway in Moldova, is once again sounding the alarm about the collapse of Horeca.
Mandachi has published the ugly bills he has to pay for the hotel and the restaurants he owns. The businessman shows that he has to pay over 100,000 lei, only for the hotel, and in these conditions the hospitality industry, already hit by restrictions of the pandemic, he can no longer survive.
“To give you an idea of the collapse that the Government will create (has already created) in the Horeca industry (and not only), after two years of harsh restrictions. We do not complain, we only show the figures from the invoices received in the mail: for a 90 MP restaurant, the current bill for January was 17,000 lei, and for a tiny 33 MP restaurant in a container, the current bill for one month was 9020 lei. That’s just electricity, no water, no gas.
At a hotel with 90 rooms, electricity 28,200 lei, gas 70,500 lei. Exact! 1 billion per MONTH !!
