State Film Awards distribution ceremony today in Thiruvananthapuram. Prime Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the award distribution at the Nishagandhi Auditorium at 6pm. (Kerala State Film Awards Distribution Today)
Director KP Kumaran will receive the Kerala Government’s highest film honor, the JC Daniel Award, and veteran journalist Sasikumar will receive the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for Lifetime Contribution to Television.
The Best Actor Award will be awarded to Biju Menon and Joju George and the Best Actress Award to Revathi. Dileesh Pothan won the Best Director Award. The ceremony scheduled for August 3 has been postponed due to heavy rains.
