Starting Monday, vaccination brigades will go house to house to immunize against Covid-19

The Municipal Government of Santa Cruz de la Sierra will deploy vaccination brigades against Covid-19 house by house in different neighbourhoods, starting this Monday the 18th. The first beneficiaries They will be Las Pampitas, Divino Niño and Virgen Milagrosa, in Municipal District 5. The brigades will tour those neighborhoods between 7:30 and 12:30 this Monday, according to the schedule published by the Mayor’s Office.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. brigades will tour the Guaracachi-Villa Esperanza neighborhood, while on Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., it will be the turn of the Valle Azul urbanization. On Friday and Saturday the brigades will visit the 21 de Enero neighborhoods (north and south), in the Guaracachi area, the scheduled time is from 8:00 to 15:00.

Additionally, the vaccination brigades will continue in schools, during the week they will be in 37 educational units, that are found within the different municipal health networks.

Vaccination in educational units will be, especially in the morning, between 8:00 and 13:00, with some differences of half an hour, in some schools. There will be others in which too will be attended in the afternoon, like Juan LabordeJosé Mariano Serrano, who will have brigades from 13:30 to 17:30, next Tuesday; May Day and March 23, at the same time, on Wednesday; Luz del Mundo, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on Thursday and the Añez educational unit on Friday at the same time.

The available vaccines are: Sinopharm for children from 5 to 11 years old, in first, second or third dose; Pfizer for adolescents from 11 to 17 years, in firstsecond or third dose and Moderna for second and third doses.

To access the vaccine it is necessary to present a photocopy of the identity card. In the case of children and adolescents, also the photocopy of the identity card of your mother, father or guardian and the consent form which will be handed out at school. The vaccine is free.
