With this charging station you can charge two controllers as long as you are not using them. The color of the charging station matches the PS5 and its controller. Even the LEDs, which light up in the striking blue of the console when the connected controller is fully charged, fit perfectly. With these accessories you also have a useful shelf and always know immediately where your controllers are. The charging station can be connected either directly to the console or to a plug-in charger with the USB cable. The charging points are also compatible with all other devices, as long as these, such as PS5 controllers, are USB-C compatible and still fit on the charging station. The rubber nubs on the underside also ensure a firm stand.

The H200 headsets that we were provided with are available in black and white. The ear cups and the bracket are padded with memory foam. The headphones can be adjusted to three different sizes and, according to the manufacturer, are “glasses-friendly”, which we can confirm. We were positively surprised by the quality of the microphone. Our tests produced a very clear sound, which is not necessarily common for headsets in the range of around € 30. The sound of the headphones was also good, which could be attributed to the built-in 40 mm drivers. The wearing comfort is also quite good for a headset in this price range, but the plastic bracket to which both ear cups are attached is quite rigid, which means that the headphones are relatively tight. We tested the ingame sound in Star Wars Battlefront II. We could hear steps and similar ambient sounds well, but shots farther away were only rudimentary. Basically, you can say: 3D sound, yes, but not comparable to higher-priced gaming headsets.
Player Kit Raptor-Gaming SK100

The third product in this test, the Player Kit Raptor-Gaming SK100, is a smaller starter set in itself. The scope of delivery includes: A USB-C charging cable for your controller, a silicone case for the PS5 controller, analog stick caps in gray and black and a one-ear headset.
The charging cable makes a very robust impression on us. It can probably even withstand all types of rodents, dogs, and cats, but we didn’t want to test that. With a length of 2.75 m, most of the distances between the sofa and console should be covered. Our controller was definitely charged pretty quickly even while in use.
The silicone cover is like a bumper cover that we are otherwise used to from smartphones. It cushions well in case your controller should fall and also provides a little more slip resistance during use. The Analog Stick Caps improve the grip even more.
The one-ear “Mono Chat” headset has the same microphone and a qualitatively similar, but comparatively slimmed-down version of the headphones in the H200 with a 30 mm driver. In terms of wearing comfort, the Mono Chat headset absolutely cannot compete with the H200. The temple looks a bit unnaturally shaped and could be a little looser. In general, we can only recommend this headset as an emergency solution. For everyday use you should use another one.

Good accessories to get you started
The starter set we have presented here is well suited for newcomers who are now getting started with a PS5. At around € 30 per product, the prices are also relatively fair. You can’t expect high-end quality, but that’s obviously not the goal of these products. The H200 headsets are pretty good for the price range and quite sufficient for everyday use. The charging station is practical to have controllers ready and to serve as a shelf for them. The bumper cover offers good protection and a quick charging cable to charge the controller while gaming is always recommended. In general, we can recommend these products as they are a useful addition to any PS5.
