LVIV – Russia began to use cruise missiles more widely in Ukraine as the invasion was already underway in its third week. How powerful is cruise missiles and how many do Moscow’s military have?

Cruise missiles hit Lviv on Friday morning, destroying a factory and damaging a bus garage.

Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said an aircraft repair factory building was destroyed, but there were no casualties.

What is a Cruise Missile?

Cruise missiles are guided missiles that make them extremely precise at targets hundreds or even thousands of miles away.

Modern cruise missiles are self-navigating and capable of traveling at subsonic, supersonic or even hypersonic speeds.
