But this flood of concerts also brings problems: “At the moment there is still the calm before the storm. But by autumn at the latest, when the big tours of international stars start again, we are threatened with a massive oversupply that will last well into 2023. The question will be: Who has the time and money to go to all these concerts,” says Tschmelak. “It is to be feared that the big ones will prevail and the small ones and young people will have a hard time finding their audience. It cannot be ruled out that some will also fall by the wayside. But the little ones are also more agile and can perhaps adapt better to the new circumstances.”
