Update 1.6 from Stardew Valley adds new festivals and items to the game, among other things.
Developer Concerned Ape announced this via social media. In addition to the aforementioned additions, players can also expect new dialogues and secrets, although the developer does not elaborate on what exactly these additions include.
It has been known for some time that Concerned Ape – aka Eric Barone – is working on a new update for the game. He even paused development of his new game Haunted Chocolatier for it. Earlier he made it clear that the update should also make it easier to develop mods for the game.
Update 1.5 for Stardew Valley was released over two years ago and added new mission, dialogues, locations and minigames to the game. It is not known when exactly update 1.6 will appear.
