Star Couple Vladimir Dantes and Dasha Katsurina Advocate for LGBT Rights in New Film

The couple took part in the filming of a film about equal rights for the LGBT community.

Star couple Vladimir Dantes and Dasha Katsurina took part in the filming of the film “Marriage (in)equality in Ukraine,” designed to draw attention to equal rights for the LGBT community.

In the film, the lovers kissed for the first time on camera, and also ended up in the registry office. In the video that Vova and Dasha shared on social networks, they decide to get married, and when they go to the registry office, the employee says to them: “Well, where did you come? Don’t you know? People like you are prohibited from getting married by law!” .

This film directed by Yuri Dvizhon consists of two parts. The first reflects a distorted world in which heterosexual couples are prohibited from marrying. In the second part, viewers will see real LGBTQ+ couples and their allies telling their stories – about love and loss, about feelings and fears that everyone can understand.

“This film is a manifesto and an appeal to society with the desire to explain what hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians feel when they understand that they do not have the right to officially marry their loved ones,” Dantes said.

You can watch the full version of the film from today, October 11, on the Megogo, Kyivstar TV and YouTube platforms of the New Channel.

Let us recall that earlier Vladimir Dantes openly commented, why haven’t you married Dasha Katsurina yet?. The showman admitted that he and his beloved are already “super.”
